Located just north of Baltimore City, but still inside the 695 Beltway, Towson is convenient to I-83 and York Road. Its boundaries include Pikesville to the west, Lutherville and Hampton to the north, Parkville to the east, and Baltimore to the south.  The area is home to Towson University and Goucher College.

Plenty of fine shopping can be found here, starting with Towson Town Center, Baltimore County’s largest indoor mall.  Also nearby is Allegheny Avenue, the main street of downtown Towson, which offers a variety of dining options and shops.  Towson Square is a new outdoor mall that opened in October 2014, and The Shops at Kenilworth is a small indoor mall located on Kenilworth Drive.  Towson Place is another large shopping area, located near Joppa Road, Goucher Boulevard, and Putty Hill Avenue.  With a Trader Joe’s and a Wegman’s, your Towson grocery shopping options are varied as well.
